Dr. Elizabeth Nyang, Ed.D., M.A., LCPC
My name is Dr. Elizabeth Nyang. I earned a master’s degree in counseling from Seton Hall University and a doctorate degree in counseling education from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. I work with clients that have issues with mood disorders and life issues. I use mindfulness and tai chi techniques with clients to help them reduce stress and gain insight into their problems.
I am a long-time student of meditation and spent one year learning walking and sitting meditation at a Buddhist Temple in Silver Spring, Maryland, have attended several workshops on meditation techniques. I have a certificate in Transformation Meditation Teacher Training. I am certified to teach Tai Chi by the American Tai Chi and QiGong Association and IFPA and I integrate meditation and Tai Chi into my work with clients.
My Rockville office on Research Court has free parking in front of the building. This building is also handicap accessible when you enter the office suite you are welcomed by friendly front desk staff.
